Practitioners responsible for implementing policy and communicating technical guidance to stakeholders, requiring precise language, practical application, and consistency across contexts.

My Role

Instructional designer responsible for translating complex information into clear, accessible messaging while aligning with agency guidelines and stakeholder expectations.

Learning Strategy

Plain-language design principles and audience-centered messaging to improve clarity, comprehension, and engagement.

Solution & Artifacts

A focused RISE module translating complex policy and data into immediately actionable, practitioner-facing guidance with clear implementation pathways. Content was designed to respect limited practitioner time, support same-day application in stakeholder conversations, and enable consistent, accurate use of approved language with long-term professional impact.

Outcomes & Indicators

-Delivered a highly engaged, practitioner-focused communication asset with strong stakeholder response.

-Demonstrated respect for practitioners’ limited time through clear, accessible framing and actionable guidance.

-Translated complex data and policy language into practical, real-world application for stakeholder conversations.

Reflection & Next Iteration

Future iterations would incorporate targeted usage and application feedback from practitioners to better understand how the guidance supports real-time stakeholder communication and long-term practice.
